EXCEPT..using the 4.146 but NOT the one you have just adapted, (as i will have to remove/unbolt ecu etc tio get at to reflash,..so this weekend as i use for work..5am..ouch!!)
the iacv up still works back tpo front..ie up 11 steps makes ms2 go down ...

a...which parameters do you need to be recorded in the datalog (not used this fuction as of yet)
b...is the 5.099 safe to use yet on a road going vehicle..(i expect not..)..actually i might already be using an earlier 4.166..i best check..)

hi..my megashift and ms2 with zf24 has been working well for some time now..
except for idle up when in 1st at standstill...all paraments are correct to allow ign adv and iacv up, but no change.

i am running 4.139 at moment..is there a bug AND if so is there a newer code to use.ROAD going vehicle ...

ok not using reed switch but oe zf24 vss sensor..nothing i did with hardware or software would sort vss out..to the extent it killed both diffs when lost signal..

however the lm2907 seems to be the cure for me atleast..killed all the noise..it is cheap..rs components sell over here (uk) you ...

i ask as i dont see how the stop gear change if over rev facilty will work if gpio has no vss input..if it dont know road speed how can it determine if its going to over rev if it changes down from say 4th to 1st..ie say doing 60mph then loses vss, so thinks ohh, better change into 1st as stopped..

this was related to iffy canbus wiring...

would it be possible to have an emergency over ride saftey fucntion??
ie if gpio loses vss signal BUT engine revs are above ( so dont cut in at stand still) a PRESET amount then gpio selects A PRESET gear..ie 3rd??..thus saving killing drive train..possible crash etc..

this is the case on my OE ...

ok...been for a ride in a mates car with dsame gearbox....so this is normal!!..GOD aint autos so different!!still i guess i will get used to it!!
