Many Thanks Lance.
Yesterday I was checking all components that they really are in the right place and in the correct direction. All OK.
After that I just hooked it back up and switched it on....speedo just going crazy up and down, SP1 to follow the madness.
Just pulled the 12+ to SP1 and it all went back to normal...
I also found some soldering that looked a bit suspicius so re-welded them,
After that I had another good scrub with isopropyl and now been sitting over night to dry up.
I'll load the code later tonight but really think its hardware related now, I passed by a local tech-store and ordered a USB scope.
Will have it here on wednesday next week so then I can start to dig into this better.
Im not using the DC motor as load anymore, just hooked up a normal 12v lightbulb while testing

We will get this sorted. I haven't been able to look at the hardware, because my test bench is tied up with microTCU testing. So I have been looking into the code with nothing found yet. However, I will try to get set up to test the sp1 output hardware in the next day or two.

Ok I've tested the code and its counting up at each gearshift.
So I'll wait for the scope to arrive so I can trace things better.

Below done with the stim:
When the SP1/2 are active I have problems with TS going off line, as soon as I set the values so they are disengaged its all OK.
I set all values all the same for SP1 and 2 using speed as index, at zero speed I measure 5V at SP1 and 7V at SP2....
Also when they are inactive (LED is out) I measure 10V on both SP1 and 2, that means to me that I get a positve signal from somewhere when the circuit should be only on negative side.
I did also bridged the "up" button in "pressed" position so now hopefully the code will think that the "manual" mode switch is active(wired according to the manual)
I also checked a bit on the speedo out circuit, I guess I need the scope to see the signal properly coming out but just measuring the hz its very jumpy, it does increase with speed though. I also expected a DC signal but can get any reading then, swithching over to AC I have about 5,5V.

Got the scope finally and did some measuring directly on JP7, jumper removed.
pics showing outcoming signal 0-100% pwm.
Seems to be a very noisy jumpy signal....
PWM period 2ms

I didn't look at your scope shot (I don't open public compressed files of that sort - if you post the original, or a downsized version, I will have a look), but did you try different periods for the PWM to see if that had any effect?
