ka24, 25x2 Header {WM8135-ND, S9000-ND}: Before installing the header, you must use insulated wire (~20-22 gauge) to jumper: AD1 to GPI2 at 25x2 header, and PT7 to VB1 at 25x2 header. Do these jumpers first, then cut the 25x2 header with small side cutters to fit remaining holes as necessary. Solder...

Re: still and again, drive mechanical speedo

tmoble I'm sure you have done some searching and found that there are very few options for anyone running a cable driven speedo. The cable X and a tail shaft conversion are about the only options that I know of for the transmission. The other option is to update the dash to a electronic speedo to ru...

Re: 4L80E Build Instructions

Silverado,

Sorry for the mistake, it is suppose to be built in EGT3 and I mistakenly built it in EGT1. You should be able to jumper EGT1 to AD3 to correct it . I will have a corrected photo up loaded in a couple of days and corrections to the instruction.

Re: 4L80E code

Lance,

Thanks and sorry for not cerifing the location, I had a quick look at the settings and the VSS (40 teeth) is the same as the 4L60E. It's the input VSS that is 31 teeth.

Re: 4L80E code

Lance, I think this is part of what Guillaume was asking about, in the Manual lever type window the header for Input 1 is PAD00/GPI1/Amp25 should be PAD00/EGT4/Amp26. Input2 is header-ed as PAD03/EGT3/Amp25, this should be for Input 3 correct and Input2 should be PAD01/GPI2/Amp6. This is still in th...
