Tire Diameter >70

A forum for discussing applications and implementations of the MegaShift transmission controller code for the GPIO from B&G. This can control up to 8-speeds and 6 shift solenoids (plus a 16x9 table for controlling a PWM line pressure valve). It has manual and fully automatic modes (16x9 load x speed table), with under and over rev-limit protection, and full data logging of all inputs and outputs (among many other abilities). A TransStim to test your completed board is also available.

Tire Diameter >70

Post by skihnia »

Hi,

I have a MegaShift on a offroader.
I tied to set the VSS settings and now have few problems.
I'm unable to set the "Tire Diameter(cm)" over 70. That is quite little for an offroad vehicle.
Also I had the "4WD Speedo correction" at 1 but when I touched it I'm unable to set it under 1.960.

skihnia,

Whoops! That's a typo in the INI (the metric (180cm) and imperial (70") limits were swapped not too long ago when we went from NOT_METRIC to SI_LENGTHS settings).

A fixed INI is here: http://www.msgpio.com/manuals/mshift/fi ... t_4127.ini

The FWD setting was carried over from when the switch was used only for 4/2wd switching. It is also fixed in this INI, so now it can go from 0.1 to 6.0.

Lance.
