Trying to find parts

Lance,

I just got my board back and unfortunately Al was not able to fix it. He did send me a new board which is good but I'm not able to get my AMP header off the first board. Looking at the hardware page for the GPIO the parts list shows an AMP 23 pin connector instead of the 35pin. I've searched Digikey, Mouser and DIYautotune and can't find just the header.

Can you tell me where I can purchase the AMP header please? Having a hard time here.

Rob,

The connectors are very hard to find in small quantities. I am surprised Al didn't send a connector with the board - that is only fair, this shouldn't be your problem. I will talk to him.

Thank you Lance that would be MOST appreciated!!

But on Al's behalf he did send me my old board back. I'm just not able to un-solder the connector.

Rob,

Yes, but we know it can be difficult to remove the connector from the dead board without the right equipment, and there's no reason you should have to buy another one. Al may ask you to return the old board so he can remove the connector (and or send a new connector), or I can remove one from one of my dead boards and send it to you, but one way or another will will get this sorted out.

Rob,

You have a PM. Al will send you a replacement connector on Monday if you email your address to him (his email address is in the PM).
