Anyone Done a Subaru AWD 4eat?

A forum for discussing applications and implementations of the MegaShift transmission controller code for the GPIO from B&G. This can control up to 8-speeds and 6 shift solenoids (plus a 16x9 table for controlling a PWM line pressure valve). It has manual and fully automatic modes (16x9 load x speed table), with under and over rev-limit protection, and full data logging of all inputs and outputs (among many other abilities). A TransStim to test your completed board is also available.

Anyone Done a Subaru AWD 4eat?

Post by Subaru_EA82_4EAT_AWD »

As the subject line suggests, has anyone done a GPIO control of a AWD 4EAT?
Im looking to try it in the future and hopefully it wont be totally uncharted territory, what has me a little concerned is the 2 speed sensor inputs needed to control the AWD transfer clutch (one from the dash speed sensor and one from the transmission rear output shaft) as I understand it, to measure difference between vehcle speed and rear drive shaft speed.

I have the full schematics from the appropriate FSM if anyone is willing to have a look into it...

thanks.
