Re: Advice on Lockup Feel solenoid for 4L65e

The info you have posted, is that for the TCC solenoid or the LUF solenoid (is that what they are calling the TCC PWM valve)? It looks like it ramps from 25% to 50% PWM, then holds for a similar period, then goes to 100%. The code doesn't do this right now, but could be made to mimic this behavior....

Re: Advice on Lockup Feel solenoid for 4L65e

I'm learning that some 4L60e's are more equal than others.... Mine has got "PWM" written on it which I believe means that it also has the lock-up feel solenoid. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/152361554/Jensen/Auto%20conversion/20150712_142848.jpg This was not by choice. Being unaware ...

Re: Feature suggestion for MShift

Thanks Lance I appreciate the tip :D May I point out that this idea of VssDot could possibly tie in very nicely with the suggestion I present this thread: http://www.msgpio.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1021 A simple VssDot graph could then adjust the downshift speed bin value upwards for the s...

Feature suggestion for MShift

Just a suggestion: I live in an area with many "traffic calming speed bumps". This requires frequent reduction in speed after obtaining Vmax from the previous speed bump. My daughter's S40 Volvo is most frustrating in this area as it only initiates a shift to the correct gear AFTER crossin...

Re: Backup / Reverse light output from Mshift?

Phil, Actually, thinking about this just a bit more, I realize the easiest way to do this is to make one of the unused spare ports a "shift solenoid". Then have that output "off" in all gears except reverse where it should be "ON". Set the PWM% table for the spare port...

Default MSQ for V5 fw please?

I intend implementing Mshift on a 4L60e which I've installed in my '74 Jensen Interceptor Mk3 (now EFI'ed with MS-2) with the 440 Chrysler engine. I don't have the hardware yet, but would like to familiarise myself with the various parameters in the mean time. I would really appreciate it if someone...

Backup / Reverse light output from Mshift?

Is it possible to configure a spare port on Mshift to switch the backup/reverse lights on (via a relay)? I want to the output to go low (or high) only when the transmission is in Reverse. My car does not have a mechanical switch for this purpose and I don't fancy fabricating one...
