Re: Chrysler 41te Trans Control Needed By Many!

might we be able to make some provisions for his to use them with this Mshift? Thad, Yes, if we can get the output curves for the pressure sensor(s) I will make it an option in the code. Also, the spare ADC report the ADC count directly to MegaTune, so the users can put their own curve in with simp...

Re: Chrysler 41te Trans Control Needed By Many!

racerstev, There is one dedicated line pressure input, and more free ADC (voltage measuring) inputs that could be used simultaneously for more pressure sensors, depending on things like the shift lever signal (for example, if the shift lever is voltage based rather than digital, there are two more A...

Re: Chrysler 41te Trans Control Needed By Many!

Guys, Once we have the control strategy nailed down (how many inputs/outputs and how they are used) the next step would be to verify the electrical characteristics of the transmission components, and see how they line up with the capabilities of the GPIO board. This includes things like the shifter ...

Re: Chrysler 41te Trans Control Needed By Many!

Last I heard is we need it to shift 4 solenoids instead of just 2. cododgeneon, The current code has 3 user configurable outputs for shift solenoids (used for the SolA, SolB, and the 3/2Sol on the 4L60E). There is also a line pressure control solenoid output (user configurable) and a lock-up torque...

Re: Chrysler 41te Trans Control Needed By Many!

Just typing in excitement of this new product and new development cododgeneon, Yeah, it's easy to do that. It's also easy to misinterpret that intent, and that's why it's generally frowned on. I did have one spare beta unit left, so tjabo will get that (since he asked). In digging around, I have on...

Re: Chrysler 41te Trans Control Needed By Many!

tjabo, The CAN support is for B&G MS-II code as a default, but the parameters are in place to support MS2-Extra - last I checked one value (the internal outpc table number) was different between B&G and Extra code (I have not tested this, but I am told it works by those that have tested it)....

c, Demanding anything in CAPS is likely to get you ignored on these forums. CAPS is the forum equivalent of SHOUTING. The latest code is here: http://www.msgpio.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=20&p=246#p246 (released yesterday). The draft documentation is here: http://www.msgpio.com/manuals/m...

Re: ZF 4HP24 Support

Tom, The inputs and outputs are user configurable in the MShift code, so it's certainly plausible that this trans could be run. What needs to happen is someone familiar with the trans to look at the available inputs and outputs in the MShift/GPIO and see how they match up to the transmissions requir...

Re: 4L80E code

Yep, Marc's (ca434sbc4) been a champ, and has done quite a lot of initial testing. The weather isn't co-operating in his part of the world anymore, but he has certainly done more than his share already! Thanks Marc.

Re: 4L80E code

mgray10, The GPIO board won't be released for production until existing beta testers (there are several) report back on success, or any of their hardware/software issues are understood and fixed. So far, most of the beta testers have not reported anything back at all (the beta units were sent out in...
