Re: ABS/TCS retrofit

TM,

That info is currently being re-worked. Here's a zip of the page (attached). Which non-integrated ABS unit we will initially support hasn't been 'set in stone' just yet.

Re: 4L80E code

Dave, 4L80E support should be straightforward. The PWM periods are settable in MegaTune. The input speed sensor is not used on the 4L60E (I suspect it was used on the 4L80E to simplify installations on diesel engines), but it does have an output shaft speed sensor of course. The standard code normal...

Re: GPIO being made up at CM right now...

Graham, These are not ready quite yet. Bruce has to burn the bootloader on them (my P&E BDM cable is dead, and I haven't replaced it yet). Then the boards need to come to me (mail or courier) for the final check-over (I have to build one and confirm all is well) and verifying the BOM, assembly i...

Re: Base GPIO code to work from?

Ryan, You might grab the early trans code project here: http://www.msgpio.com/manuals/mshift/GPIO_4L60E_Proj.zip The main source code with the hints is here: http://www.msgpio.com/manuals/mshift/4L60E_main.c It is for CW 4.6 (but will likely work for other versions). There is an outline of the code ...

Re: Adding current load to PWM output circuit?

Antony, I am not sure if the traces on the production board are capable of carrying a sustained 8 Amps. On the beta units, the VBx circuits can carry more current than the PWM circuits - they have thicker traces (and they can still do PWM). VB1 had extra heavy traces for the highest current rating. ...
