Have you tried this or know anyone who has? Using this method the tach output is the Neg. side of the ign. coil.
My other option is to use the pick up coil in the distributor which is a VR output. I'm just not ...

Non-CAN Tach input
VR3 is not in the build guide for the 4L60E. Where will I find this information for assembly?
Also will this circuit be assembled differently for a Square Wave (Hall Switch) input vs. a Sine wave (Variable Reluctor) sensor?

But on Al's behalf he did send me my old board back. I'm just not able to un-solder the connector.

I just got my board back and unfortunately Al was not able to fix it. He did send me a new board which is good but I'm not able to get my AMP header off the first board. Looking at the hardware page for the GPIO the parts list shows an AMP 23 pin connector instead of the 35pin. I've searched ...

The instructions say the vreg doesn't need a separate heat sink unless your powering off-board accessories. I plan on supplying a MAP sensor 5v and 0v, any recommendations for a heat sink - thickness etc..?
