Anyone got any input on 4L80E line pressures? Infact anyone know what the rise rate should be with throttle position?

I know the standard controller uses TPS for load, and my installation does too (the axis label is wrong). So I'm just interested to know what the standard rise rate is, is it linear ...

Did it and it works fine... hadn't messed with the ini's before so wasn't sure

Do I need to do anything other than modify the ini in my tunerstuido project folder for this to work? Except changing the settings in the msq obviously.

Is there a reason the code will not allow a maximum of 100% line pressure during a shift? Seems to be limited to 90%?

I had another corruption of the firmware today for some reason - no idea why, no settings had been changed on the controller for a long time. It left me with 1st and reverse only - managed to limp 5 miles to the nearest store to get some tools to open up the MShift and reload the ...

Controller is more or less performing OK now - but I have problems with the auto/manual modes.

If I go from auto to manual it works fine, paddles function, everything is good. However strange things happen when I try to go back into auto mode.

Pull both paddles and sometimes it goes into auto fine ...

I removed the megashift and checked the resistance between the TCC output and ground pins on the AMP connector of the unit itself and got only 30ohms.

Opened it up and replaced all of the components in the TCC PWM circuit and rechecked and got an infinite reading as you would expect.

Question is ...

Turns out the problem with it stalling when stopping might have been because the TCC solenoid was being grounded by the megashift permanently. I unplugged the controller and the ground disappeared. So it's an internal issue with it.

So I have a problem with the circuit inside somewhere for the TCC ...

Figured it out - started it up with a line pressure gauge hooked up and adjusted the pressure table and was able to alter the pressure OK.

I have more problems now - this transmission is driving me insane...
